Dear Sisters, Today marks the beginning of December and the beginning of Advent, for us DMJ the 1st of December is also a time to remember our Founder on the anniversary of his death. Today we are invited to pray with gratitude for his life and vision. We also remember all the sisters who have gone before us, and we are conscious of a number of sisters who have recently lost relatives and friends.

As usual, we began the day with faith sharing We then took some time for individual prayer and discernment before moving into the election for the Congregation Leader. As we already announced earlier, Sr. Marie Claire Nakayiza is our new Congregation Leader

Yesterday was a rest day but we did meet in the evening to celebrate the two jubilarians among us; Grace, 25 years and Mary Enda 70 years! Thanks to the Social Group it was a lovely evening with music and dance. A taste of which is shown here.
